Short answerAre the reviews on this page real?

What customers say about the visit itself
Most people judge a cleaning company by how the visit feels: did the crew show up when promised, explain what they were doing, and leave the house the way they found it?
They did a great job! Friendly. Communicative. Professional. Would recommend to anyone.
Explaining the work is part of the job. Ducts sit behind walls and above ceilings, so a customer can't see most of what gets cleaned unless someone walks them through it.
Great help, very responsive and detailed explanation
Those two short reviews point at the same thing: customers notice when someone takes the time to explain the work. If you want to know what is being cleaned and why, ask on the call or during the visit. If something outside cleaning turns up — a crushed flex run, a dryer line ending in the attic, a damaged chimney cap — we don't take that work on, so we suggest which trade to call.
Being reachable matters too. Calls to (415) 980-6169 are answered 24/7, and cleaning visits run daily, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can also book online and pick a slot without calling. Our how it works page walks through a typical visit from the first call to the end of the job.
Dryer vents: the problem people notice first
Dryer vents are one of the six things we clean. This customer's vent was blocked and covered with stucco.
Great work and got our blocked dryer vent cleared. It was covered with stucco and they helped clearing it out.
Short answerWhy would a dryer vent be blocked from the outside?
The exit hood on an outside wall can get painted, caulked or stuccoed over during exterior work, or packed with lint and nesting material. Air then has nowhere to go, so clothes take longer to dry. We clear the run from the dryer to that outside opening and recommend a cleaning about every 6 months.
Signs worth a call:
- Clothes still damp after a normal dryer cycle
- The laundry room gets hot or humid while the dryer runs
- The outside flap barely moves, or doesn't open at all
- Visible dust around supply registers soon after you wipe them
- A musty or burnt-dust smell when the heat first comes on
- A kitchen hood that drips grease or leaves a film on the cabinets
Getting on the schedule
Timing depends on the day's calendar, so we can't promise a specific slot in advance. This is one customer's experience.
Super efficient, available right away, and fixed the problem quickly
Price comes up in almost every conversation. Ours is fixed and published before the visit, so you can compare it with other quotes on your own terms.
Really happy with the service - they were able to come the same day and the price was comparable to others. Very friendly as well.
A note on that last review: timing varies from day to day, so read it as one customer's experience and not as a promise. Online booking shows the slots that are open.
On price, the numbers are the same for every home in our area: air duct cleaning is $349 for up to 10 vents and $20 for each additional vent, dryer vent cleaning is $179, kitchen hood cleaning is $169, chimney sweeping is $149, and bathroom fan cleaning is $99. Air duct cleaning comes with a 2-year guarantee; ask about the terms when you book. Commercial jobs are quoted per site.
Short answerCan I leave a review if I hired you outside Thumbtack?
Yes, and we'd welcome it. If we cleaned for you after a direct call or online booking, ask your technician for the review link. Honest feedback, good or critical, helps neighbors decide and shows us what to do better on the next visit.

FAQ
- Why are all the reviews from Thumbtack?
- Thumbtack is the public profile we link to, and it marks reviews from people who booked through the platform as “Hired on Thumbtack.” We quote only those, which makes them easy to verify: each quote links back to our public profile, where you can see the full text and date.
- Do you edit or shorten the reviews?
- No. We copy each review exactly as it appears on Thumbtack, including spelling and punctuation, and show the reviewer's name the way the platform displays it. If a review is long, we still show all of it.
- Why don't I see every review from your profile here?
- We only quote reviews from customers who hired us through Thumbtack for a cleaning job we offer today. A review about work we no longer take on, or one left by someone who didn't book through the platform, stays on Thumbtack but isn't quoted here. The full list is always on the profile.
- Can I read these reviews on Thumbtack myself?
- Yes. Every quote on this page has an “on Thumbtack” link to our public profile, where you can read the reviews with their dates and see the current rating.
- What if I'm unhappy with a cleaning?
- Call (415) 980-6169 first and tell us what went wrong. We'd rather hear it directly than learn about it later. You're still free to post an honest review wherever you like.
