Air Duct Cleaning

  • Negative-air vacuum on the trunk, so dust goes to the drum, not your rooms
  • Air whips and rotary brushes down every branch, both supply and return
  • Every register cover removed, washed and put back
  • Furnace filter checked, replacement flagged if needed
  • Drop cloths at every opening and cleanup when we finish
  • The collection drum opened in front of you, plus photos

What it does not

  • Furnace or air handler internals (blower, evaporator coil). Ask and we will tell you whether it needs a separate visit.
  • Duct repair, sealing or replacement. We will show you the problem but we do not do the construction work.
  • Mold remediation. If we see suspected growth we stop and tell you, and you bring in a remediation company first.
  • Pre-1980 cement-board (transite) or paper-wrapped ducts that may contain asbestos. We do not agitate these. Get them tested first.

How do you count vents?

Every supply register and every return grille counts as one. Walk the house and count the covers on the floor, walls and ceilings, then add the big return grille (usually in a hallway). Most 3-bedroom homes land between 10 and 14. Two-story homes with two furnaces run 16 to 24.

What does a 14-vent house cost?

$349 for the first 10 plus $19 for each of the other four, so $425. A 20-vent two-story is $539. Say the number on the phone and we confirm it before we come.

How much does air duct cleaning cost?
Air duct cleaning costs $349 for up to 10 vents and $19 for each vent past ten. Count every supply register and return grille in the house to get your number. A 2-bedroom condo with 7 vents is $349. A 4-bedroom house with 16 vents is $463. There are no fuel charges or per-system add-ons, and the price you get on the phone is the price on the invoice unless the vent count changes.
How much does dryer vent cleaning cost?
Dryer vent cleaning costs $129 for a side-by-side washer and dryer and $179 for a stackable or closet unit. Both prices cover the full run from the dryer outlet to the exterior hood, clearing the hood, reconnecting the dryer and an airflow check. There is no extra charge for long runs or roof terminations we can reach.
How much does range hood cleaning cost?
Residential range hood and kitchen exhaust cleaning costs $169. That covers filter degreasing, the hood interior and fan, and clearing the exhaust duct to the exterior cap. Commercial and restaurant hoods are priced after an in-person visit because the duct length, fan and grease load vary too much for a flat rate.
How much does a chimney sweep cost?
A chimney sweep costs $149 per flue. That covers the firebox, smoke shelf, damper, a full flue sweep under vacuum and a visual check. A second flue on the same property, for a second fireplace or a wood stove, is another $149.
How much does bathroom fan cleaning cost?
Bathroom fan cleaning costs $99 per fan. That covers the grille, the blower wheel and housing, the accessible duct to the roof or wall cap, and a run test. Two fans are $198, three are $297, all on one visit. Most people add it to an air duct or dryer vent appointment, and the price is the same either way.
Is tax included in the price?
Yes. The prices on this page are what you pay. There is no fuel charge, no per-system charge, and no travel fee anywhere in the Bay Area.
How does the 10% new customer discount work?
Mention the website when you book and we take 10% off the total on your first visit, any service, including additional vents. One use per household.
Can I bundle services on one visit?
Yes, and most people do. Air ducts plus a dryer vent is the most common pairing. Each service is its own line at its listed price, and the 10% new-customer discount applies to the whole invoice.
When do I pay?
After the work, once you have seen what came out. Card, cash or check. No deposit to book.
Why is there no price for commercial?
Because a 1,200 square foot dental office and a 20,000 square foot warehouse are not the same job. We walk the space for free, count the air handlers and diffusers, and send a written price the same day.
