Fresh Air Duct Cleaning

How it works

Six steps from your call to the photos on your phone.

The price is set before we open a register. The furnace is off while we work. The drum gets opened in front of you. Here is the whole sequence.

Sequence

The visit, in order

  1. 01

    Call or book online

Tell us the service, your city, and a rough vent count. You get the price on the spot and a two-hour arrival window. 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.

  2. 02

    We confirm the day before

A text with the window and the name of who is coming. Reply if anything changed, like a new vent count or a gate code.

  3. 03

    Walkthrough and count

We walk the house with you, count registers and returns, look at the furnace and duct type, and confirm the price before we open a single register.

  4. 04

    Protect and connect

Drop cloths at every opening. The negative-air vacuum connects to the trunk and every other opening is sealed so dust travels one way.

  5. 05

    Clean every run

Air whips and rotary brushes work each supply and return branch back to the trunk. Registers come off and get washed. The filter gets checked.

  6. 06

    Show, clean up, pay

You see the drum and the photos. We put every register back, wipe down, and load out. Then you pay by card, cash or check.

FAQ

Before and during the visit

What should I do before you arrive?
Clear a path to each register and the furnace closet. Move anything fragile off the floor near vents. Put pets somewhere calm; the vacuum is loud. That is it.
Do I need to be home?
Someone needs to let us in and walk the count with us at the start, and we like to show you the results at the end. If you cannot stay, a lockbox and a phone number work, and we send the photos.
How long will you be there?
Two to four hours for most homes. A dryer vent or range hood alone is about an hour. Big two-system homes are a full day, and we tell you that when we book.
Is it loud or messy?
Loud, yes: the vacuum runs the whole time. Messy, no: the system is under negative pressure so dust goes to the drum, and we cover every opening.
Do you turn off the furnace?
Yes, at the thermostat and the unit, for the duration of the job. We turn it back on and run it before we leave.
What if you find something wrong?
We photograph it, show you, and tell you what kind of contractor fixes it. We do not sell repairs, so there is no reason for us to find problems that are not there.

Two minutes on the phone gets you a firm number.

Tell us the service and your city. We count vents with you, give you the price, and hold a slot. Open 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week.
